Chordcraft was created
in 1964 by the late Verne Engblom in Chicago, Illinois. Verne was considered a genius by many, integrating a fantastic artistic
ability with his love and passion for music. He held strongly to the belief that every musician should have the opportunity
to have their music and talents heard, regardless of financial or other constraints that might hinder them from being
appreciated by the public. These beliefs were the founding principals of Chordcraft. Chordcraft started out doing simple
publishing for local Chicago bands in the late 60's and early 70's.
This publishing soon grew to music production, specializing in
Country, Barbershop and Children’s Music for both popular groups and unfound talent. Since 1964, Chordcraft has taken
on many faces and created a wide variety of products specializing in production, promotion and education for aspiring musicians.
Now, under new management, Chordcraft is working on innovative projects and services to help promote the ideals
which the company was founded on. In the last year the company has been totally restructured and brought to date focusing
on modern music trends. The company's current objectives are to integrate fans, musicians and all other aspects of the music
industry with a convenient portfolio of products and services. Creating partnerships and providing the tools they need to
help expand and perfect music culture.
